Enrollment Questions
Q. How do I get started?
A. Click on the Register button at the top of the type at home website and then select your position to start the registration process. Start Today => http://www.typeathome.com
Q. What are the fees involved?
A. You will only have a one time registration fee, which covers your registration, your training and all future editing of your work. Visit the site to see your options.
Q. How soon can I start making money?
A. You can start and complete your paid training assignment immediately after you join. You are given access as soon as you enroll. You will also have access to your regular assignment. You may only select 1 regular assignment at a time. After it’s complete, submit it and start your next assignment. You may be asked to correct errors, so be sure it’s accurate.
Q. Can you deduct my registration fee from my first payment?
A. No, we do not offer a fee deduction option for this program.
Type At Home Position Questions
Q. How much work will I receive?
A. After you join our network, you will have full access to our assignments, which is in the hundreds.
Q. What about taxes, do you withhold?
A. You are listed as an independent contractor. Each assignment is an individual contract with no time constraints. You are not a hourly or salaried employee, so we do not withhold taxes. We recommend speaking with a tax professional for tax advice.
Q. How much can I realistically make?
A. Since we have no time constraints on assignments, you’re earning potential is up to you. After you complete a few assignments, you will have a better idea of how much you can earn.
Q. How do I get paid?
A. We pay our home typists by Paypal or by a mailed paycheck.
Q. When Do I get paid?
A. We pay our home typists every Friday. You must have completed an assignment by Thursday in order to be paid by Friday.
General Questions
Q. If I want to stop and start back again later, Is that ok?
A. Yes, you may stop and start as often as you like. If you need to take a few weeks or months off, just notify us by email. The maximum allowed time for inactivity, however, is 6 months.
Q. What if I don’t like the work, can I get a refund.
A. Our one time registration fee is non-refundable so be sure to ask questions upfront and be sure you want to do this type of work. For additional questions, visit our contact page and send your question in the form of an email.
Q. Will you run out of assignments.
A. No, we secure additional assignments daily and upload them periodically throughout the month. We have never run out of assignments and don’t plan on running out of assignments.
